STATEMENT OF FAITH

 

 

WE BELIEVE…..

 

In God who made us and loves us and that He is perfect, holy, and flawless

                                                                        Genesis 1:1    1 John 1:5

 

God exists eternally as one God in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit

                                                                        Matthew 28:19   John 14:26 & 15:26

 

We believe that human beings were created by God in His image, but that we have become  broken and flawed by our sin and rejection of our creator…

                                                                        Genesis 2 & 3    Romans 3:12,26

 

Jesus Christ came and died on a cross to pay the penalty for our sin.  He was buried, rose again, and sits at the right hand of God the Father.

                                                                        John 3:16, 17     1 Corinthians 15: 3-8

 

We believe that human beings are saved from their sins and restored to relationship with God through faith in the work of Jesus on the Cross.

                                                                        Romans 10: 8-13     John 3:16

 

We believe that Jesus will one day return to bring this world to an end and that all who believe in Him will be with God in Heaven forever.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is at work in all who accept Jesus as Lord, giving them gifts for service, helping them have the victory over sin; helping them understand the Bible, and allowing them to know the experience of God’s love.

We believe the Bible, consisting of the old and new testament, to be the only inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative word of God, fully inspired by Him, and that it is our sure and certain guide for faith and practice in our daily lives.

                                                                        2 Timothy 3:16

 

 

We believe that all human life comes from God and that He alone determines the days of each person’s life.

We believe that marriage was instituted by God as a union between one man and one woman
